Aveco MCR and News Production Automation at IBC

With 23 years in the broadcast industry, Aveco offers complete and cost-effective automation for master control, news and studio productions. At IBC 2015 Aveco will introduce the third generation ASTRA Studio news production automation. It includes many breaking news features that speed time to air while also elevating production values. It controls all vision mixers, video servers, graphic systems, virtual sets, camera robotics, audio mixers, video walls, lighting and other broadcast equipment. It integrates with six major newsroom systems and multiple MAMs.
Aveco has the industry’s largest library of interfaces and implemented APIs.
ASTRA Studio 3 is part of Aveco’s ASTRA Suite of Tools, which includes media asset management, workflow automation, master control automation, news/live assist, ingest, robotics-based mass-ingest, hierarchical storage, archive interface, and, interfaces to traffic, transcoders, stream-splicers, social media systems and other applications.
At IBC Aveco will also show the latest enhancements to Redwood Play and Redwood Studio.
Redwood Studio, the first News-Studio-in-a-Box, includes an 8-input vision mixer with multiple DVE’s, four HD video players, 32 layers of graphics, multiviewer, MAM, camera robotics control, NRCS interface and ASTRA Studio 3. Redwood Play is the industry’s highest-end Integrated Playout, with the same technical capability and ASTRA MCR software.
